Activities to add on gorilla tracking
The Bwindi-Mgahinga region of southwestern Uganda has so much to offer in addition to gorilla tracking. Activities to do to complement gorilla tracking include; nature trails, village tours, coffee making experience, canoeing at lake mutanda and hiking the Kisoro viewpoint where you see the vast land scape of the Kigezi region especially the Virunga ranges, Lake Mutanda, Echuya forest and the Uganda boarder with Congo and Rwanda. The tours start in Kisoro town and takes you to the nearby Lake Mutanda!

1- Nature Trails: See local nature get an understanding of the land use in the Bwindi Mgahinga area. Walk through the farming landscape, see the Lake Mutanda swamp and possibly catch sight of a python!
